ExpertWind Insights: Q3 2026 Product Update

By ExpertWind Team

The Q3 2026 ExpertWind Insights update introduces major developments across ExpertWind Copilot, issue review, action management, notifications and reporting.

The release brings more of the work that follows a performance finding directly into Insights: reviewing the evidence, deciding what requires action, defining the next steps, preparing technical follow-up, tracking progress and validating improvements.

The main additions are an expanded ExpertWind Copilot, a redesigned workflow for Issues and Actions, a new Activity centre with notifications, and new evidence and monthly reporting capabilities.

ExpertWind Copilot

ExpertWind Copilot is now integrated directly into the main results, Issues Review and Plan of Action workflows.

This gives Copilot access to the result being reviewed, its diagnostics and supporting evidence, the relevant operational context and the current workflow status.

From these pages, Copilot can generate evidence-based summaries, explain findings, prepare internal notes, recommend next steps, draft correction requests and suggest action checklists.

Users can work directly from the result, issue or action without rebuilding the context each time they need an explanation, summary or follow-up document.

This makes investigation and action management more efficient, while making ExpertWind’s performance knowledge easier to access and apply throughout the workflow.

Issues and Actions

The Issues and Actions pages now form a more direct workflow from abnormal findings to operational follow-up.

Issues Review brings together abnormal diagnostic results and turbine-log signals that require assessment. Users can review the measured evidence, operating context, diagnostic details and estimated impact before deciding whether the finding should be monitored, dismissed or raised as an action.

Turbine logs and status codes are now included in this process. Abnormal event-code frequency, duration and associated energy impact can now be reviewed alongside diagnostic findings and raised as tracked actions when follow-up is required.

The redesigned Plan of Action page provides a list-based view of open, ongoing and completed actions, with faster status updates and direct access to the information needed to manage each case. Users can review the action, evidence, comments, diagnostic links, reviews and AEP Simulator results from the same workflow.

Copilot is integrated throughout Issues Review and Plan of Action. It can summarise the evidence, explain why a finding was raised, recommend the next checks, draft a correction request and suggest a practical checklist for progressing the action.

This helps teams move more quickly from reviewed findings to structured action, while keeping the evidence, next steps and follow-up connected throughout the process.

Activity and Notifications

The new Activity centre provides a chronological record of the significant operational changes taking place across each wind farm.

It brings together new issues requiring review, worsened issues, new or updated actions, resolved or reopened actions, monthly reporting updates, uploaded reports and meeting notes.

Each activity item links directly to the relevant result, issue, action or report, allowing users to move immediately from the update to the underlying details.

A new notification bell in the main navigation highlights unseen activity and gives users immediate access to recent changes that may require attention.

New weekly email updates now summarise the most relevant activity across selected wind farms, with direct links back into the corresponding Insights workflows.

Evidence and monthly reports

Evidence Reports can now be generated directly from issue, action and detailed result pages.

They bring together measured evidence, relevant timelines, operational interpretation, supporting diagnostics and recommended next steps for a specific finding, result or action.

Copilot supports the preparation of these reports by turning the technical information already available in Insights into clear explanations and structured evidence for internal review, operational follow-up or communication with OEM and service teams.

Reports can be downloaded directly from the workflow and remain connected to the issue or action from which they were created.

Farm Monthly Reports can also be generated directly from the Farm Intelligence page.

These reports provide a structured monthly overview of production, efficiency, availability, curtailments, diagnostics, turbine performance, turbine-log signals and operational follow-up. They are designed to support regular performance reviews, internal communication and month-to-month KPI tracking.

Additional features and improvements

  • The new Wind Speed Coherence feature helps identify turbines that are underestimating or overestimating wind speed compared with neighbouring turbines, making relative sensor shifts and coherence issues easier to detect, investigate and track over time.

  • The new Signal History page provides access to abnormal signals that are no longer active. Users can filter previous signals by wind farm, category, level, period and follow-up status, then return directly to the related evidence or action.

  • Fleet Overview has been reorganised around operational priorities, including selected-month KPIs, issues requiring review, key open actions, turbine priorities and monthly trends.

  • Farm Intelligence has also been updated to provide a clearer monthly review of production, efficiency, availability, curtailments, diagnostics, turbine performance, turbine-log signals and operational follow-up.

  • Subscription plans and fixed-term campaigns now support volume discounts.

A more automated and Copilot-supported workflow

The Q3 2026 release moves ExpertWind Insights further towards an automated, Copilot-supported approach to wind farm performance work.

Insights already processes operational data and brings forward performance results, losses and diagnostic findings. This release extends that workflow by helping users interpret those findings, decide what requires action, prepare the necessary follow-up, track progress and validate the result.

Copilot makes the underlying evidence and ExpertWind knowledge easier to use directly within results, issues and actions. Activity and notifications bring forward the changes that need attention. Reports make it easier to communicate findings and review performance with other teams.

Together, these developments give asset managers, operators and performance teams stronger tools to move from expert-level analysis into consistent operational follow-up, while keeping the evidence, decisions, actions and results connected inside Insights.
